Kenneth P. MaloofKenneth P. Maloof started the business out of his home in 1989. He traveled to his client’s home and places of business with a computer, printer, and reference books providing the highest quality of service available. He served on the Massachusetts Department of Revenue’s Electronic Filing Pilot program in 1991.

As the tax practice grew he continued to go to school and increase his knowledge base. The business grew as his clients referred family and friends from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and moved the business out of his home and into a store front location in his home town. Ken is well known in the local community for volunteering and supporting local community organizations. .

Ken took on leadership responsibilities for the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Tax Professionals (MA NATP). Since 1995 he has been serving on the Board of Directors of MA NATP in various roles including President of the State Chapter. Ken also serves the National Association of Tax Professionals on a national level.

In 2000, he received the Best of Mass Award from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for providing High Quality Electronic Filing tax services to his clients. As some of his clients moved out of state they wanted to continue to use him to provide the tax services that they needed and Ken continued to study the tax rules of other states to provide the highest standard of service to his clients.

In addition to his office in Easton, MA he has a satellite office in Auburn, MA where he serves clients in the western part of Massachusetts and northern Connecticut. He passed the Treasury Department’s Enrolled Agent’s Exam becoming an Enrolled Agent (EA) and then he became an Accredited Tax Professional (ATP) and an Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA). As the business has continued to grow, he hired Elizabeth Campbell and soon afterwards moved the growing business to a larger location where the business is located today.

Mr. Maloof has offered specialized services to Home-Based Childcare Providers since the start of the business. His wife was a Home-Based Child-Care provider for 15 years.

In 1990 Ken published, and continues to update, a tax training manual which he uses in presentations teaching Bookkeeping and Tax Classes to both Childcare Providers and Tax Professionals. He also teaches Retirement planning issues. He continues to seek new opportunities to gain an ever increasing and detailed understanding of the continuously changing tax laws in order to provide his clients with the quality of service that they seek and deserve.

He spends 90 – 120 hours per year in tax update seminars and he also continues with additional training in: practice management, personal growth, and other business and professional related continued education. He has received schooling at the: U-Mass Tax School, Bentley College - Tax Forums, National Association of Tax Professionals: National Conventions and detail orientated tax trainings, IRS Tax Forums, State tax trainings by the: Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine Departments of Revenue, and countless others.


Elizabeth O. CampbellElizabeth O. Campbell is a long time client of Maloof & Associates Inc. She joined the firm, as an employee, in 2004. She is a 1984 graduate of Northeastern University receiving a BS in Business Administration and a Major in Marketing. She worked for the MA Dept of Revenue since graduating in 1984 until 1992. She opened a Home-Based Child-Care business and was a Day Care Provider for over ten years. She is the Office Manager and a Tax Professional at Maloof & Associates Inc. Elizabeth takes many tax update and professional growth seminars annually. Denise MaloofDenise is Mr. Maloof’s daughter. She has helped at Maloof & Associates Inc for many years as part of her community service requirements for school. In 2005 we hired her to provide administrative services to the business and to assist the staff where needed.
